Optic nerve hypoplasia (ONH) is a congenital condition in which the optic nerve does not fully develop before birth, causing reduced vision from early childhood. It can occur alone or alongside other conditions such as septo-optic dysplasia. Travelling from Uganda — What to Expect
- Flights: Direct and one-stop flights are available from Entebbe (EBB) to New Delhi (DEL), typically 8–10 hours depending on route and layover.
- Visa: Ugandan citizens require a Medical Visa for India, arranged through the Indian High Commission in Kampala. Our team assists with the invitation letter and required documentation.
- Cost guidance: Treatment packages are quoted in USD; approximate Ugandan Shilling (UGX) equivalents are provided on request.
- Stay duration: Most patients stay in Delhi NCR for 7–14 days, depending on diagnostic requirements and the treatment plan.
- Language: All consultations and medical reports are provided in English.
